Welcome to the Guild of Long Draw Spinners for busy people who want to spin beautiful yarn.

Our purpose is to encourage and support the skill of long draw spinning and associated activities. No previous experience necessary - but enthusiasm is essential!

We are a non-profit making organisation, willing to teach long draw spinning to anyone who is able to attend our regular monthly meetings which are held in Leicestershire. We also attend “woolly” gatherings around the country to share our skills.

GOLDS Demonstration Stand: Whitsun Bank Holiday Sheep Shearing displays and demonstrations at West Lodge Farm Park, Back Lane, Desborough, Northants, NN14 2SH. Volunteer GOLDS members are needed to help with Long Draw Spinning demonstrations, talking to people on the stand and a possible” Back to Back” challenge.
